‘Public Education’ Should Fund Any Education, Not Just Government-Run Schools

The ACLU is fighting against school choice.

Government schools have no incentive to truly excel.  What "choice" does a student have?  America must cast aside what is a hopelessly flawed, unresponsive government school system and encourage true innovation and choice for students and parents.  Create true competition, where government schools must measure up against cutting edge educational choices.  American schools will no doubt become far more focused, "customer" centric, and pay far more attention to the actual quality of education.  Right now, the system is hoplessly bogged down in political correct ideology, stuffed with far more costs than necessary, and a travesty.

Milton Friedman offered a far better solution to public education than what has been patched together in today’s "government school system".
